WHAT WE DO

Le Refuge de Galahad is a non profit organization with the mission to promote good welfare practices in the equine industry and provide a home to animals that would otherwise face a more tragic fate. We strive to educate the public about welfare issues within the industry and protect farm animals as well as their rights. 

Owners that can no longer provide adequate care for their horses sometimes have very limited options. Too often horses end up at the auction and/or at the slaughterhouse. With our vast network of foster families and sanctuaries, we are able to rehome displaced animals so they can live a long and happy life.
