GIVE UP AN ANIMAL

Pease contact us if you wish to give up your animal. We will walk you through the process and help you rehome your horse to a loving family.

• In order to donate your animal, you will have to become a member for a 25.00$ fee. However, if you are unable to pay the fee, you can call us and we can accomodate you according to your situation.

• If your animal is suffering and cannot be helped by any means, please consult with a veterinarian. We will not take in a horse that is in pain, if the most humane option is to euthanize it.

• Unfortunately, we do not have a temporary shelter for your animal, thus you must wait until we find an adoptant before surrendering it to us.

• You should always choose an adoptant approved by us in order to ensure the welfare of your animal. 

• You must be the owner of the horse you wish to surrender. 

• It is forbidden to sell your horse once you have agreed to surrender it to us. You must remove all ads and posts concerning the sale of your horse. 

• You must do an annual visit to the adopting family once the horse has been adopted to ensure good welfare practices. If you are unable to do so, a member of our association can do the visit for a small fee. 

• We offer an adoption contract for your horse and a visit to the future adoptant to ensure Galahad's housing standards are followed.

• We can offer free legal services in case of litigation.
